A cold and dewy start just after dawn from Wycombe. We were soon climbing through the mist before transiting Southend's airspace and the port of Dover. Slipping just north of Calais we were cleared through the Koksijde restricted areas and a long final into Kortrijk, one of our favourite airports with permanant border staff for a quick and easy stop before departing towards Nancy. Some complex routing around the active military airspace kept us low and bumpy before we could climb into cooler air. A rapid descent into Nancy for fuel, and well deserved lunch. If you've not tried the restaurant there it's a must-do!
