After brimming the fuel tanks (France is way way cheaper than Germany and Switzerland) we departed IFR, climbing to FL090 and the controllers obliged with direct routing to Friedrichshafen for our booked ILS slot. A busy arrival saw us queued onto the ILS with spectacular views of Lake Constance before a smooth touchdown on runway 06. A gorgeous evening allowed us to unpack before exploring Lindau, our home for the next few days, and a stroll along the lakefront. A truly gorgeous part fo the world.
