A fantastic start to the summer touring season. We crossed the Channel and flew to Cherbourg for an overnight stop. In the cool of the morning, a long leg flown down the west coast of France and across to Carcasonne for a couple of days exploring. The coastal route from Montpellier to Marseille was spectacular, flown at 1000 feet, before lifting up for a transit of Marseilles to overnight at Aix en Provence. The route back took us across central France, dodging the Class A around Paris for another overnight in Le Touquet before crossing back to Wycombe via London City. A great season of summer touring ahead!
